US music group The Crystal Method are about to release their first ever NFT, in the form of a music video. It is the first to drop in this form by a major label. It is the group’s new single, titled “Watch Me Now,” which will be auctioned on MakersPlace.

The Crystal Method’s NFT will be auctioned on April 26 at 3:30 p.m. PT. The eventual winner of the auction will also receive a limited edition animation and an open edition cell of the video.
The original video was released last week, on April 15, for the song Watch Me Now. It is a unique watch. In addition, it combines 2D, 3D, black and white and color imagery in an animation format to depict the song that was written about Nevada, the group’s home state.

Band member Scott Kirkland has spoken about the project, “My first NFT release is a collaboration with brilliant animation artist Micah Monkey and will be released on April 26th.
Micah has created an epic and uplifting visual accompaniment to my exciting new single “Watch Me Now” featuring Koda and VAAAL. As the lyrics say, ‘This Ain’t No Joke’.”

About The Crystal Method
The Crystal Method is an electronic music group based in Las Vegas. They were formed in the early 1990s by Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordon.
They were pioneers of the big beat genre. In addition, their music has appeared in numerous television shows, movies, video games and commercials.
In 2013, Ken Jordon has to retire from music due to health reasons. However, Kirkland has continued to produce and play shows as a solo project, still under the name The Crystal Method.
