SyncReality wants to create “house-sized” virtual reality game spaces for Meta Quest 2 that will merge the physical and virtual reality worlds.
Berlin-based SyncReality aims to reduce the limitations of digital security in XR environments with a tool for developers.
With the automatic and individual adaptation of the virtual environment to the physical rooms and furnishings, the living room thus becomes a digital playground for AR and VR games. All this without the need for modern security systems such as guard boundaries.
“In a market with a multitude of tools, we saw a gap for developers and creators because we are creators ourselves. With our self-adaptive design tool, SyncReality enables developers to create seamless experiences for end users, allowing them to confidently walk around and intuitively interact with any virtual realm,” explains SyncReality CEO and founder Cyril Tuschi.

SyncReality Objectives
SyncReality wants users to be able to create a digital double of any object in the physical environment through volumetric spatial mapping.
In other words, the virtual world adapts to the real world. In a VR environment, the home office could become a science fiction laboratory or a simple stool could become an ammunition box. Innovative augmented reality games already explore features like this.
Adaptation supposedly occurs automatically and in real time. The scanned surfaces supposedly provide haptic feedback and thus feel correspondingly real. By linking several rooms together, SyncReality aims to create house-sized play areas. In a video, SyncReality shows a vision of the future in which an entire house is digitized and transformed into a VR game.
For example, a home office can be transformed into a science fiction laboratory in a virtual environment. A simple tool in the real world could become ammunition in the VR environment.
SynceReality seamlessly connects multiple rooms to create house-sized gaming zones.

SyncReality also plans to enhance its XR design tool
An alpha version of this tool will be released soon as a Unity plug-in, which is also compatible with Meta Quest 2 and the Meta Quest Pro VR headset.
SyncReality is also planning an asset tool that will enable the creation of elastic, platform-independent parametric experiences.
The company is also working on an AI-enabled room simulator for test environments, along with a marketplace where users can trade and sell virtual assets.
In addition, SyncReality is working on a port of Unreal, as well as an authoring tool designed for users without development skills.

About SyncReality
SyncReality is a Berlin-based startup, which wants to eliminate the digital security limitations that exist in RX environments by means of a tool for developers.
To this end, it automatically and individually adapts the virtual environment to the physical world, including the room and furniture.
As a result, the living room is transformed into a digital playground for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality games.
All this is possible without requiring modern security mechanisms, such as guard boundaries.
