Along with his son, Cordell Broadus, known in the web3 space as Champ Medici, Snoop Dogg has joined Food Fighters Universe (FFU) as a partner in Snoop’s Dr Bombay’s Sweet Exploration.
To clarify, Dr Bombay’s is Snoop’s immersive dessert experience based on his NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club. It is set to open soon in Los Angeles under the FFU umbrella.
Food Fighters Universe is bridging the gap between food and Web3, and blazing a trail with real utility for NFTs. It’s the future of the restaurant industry. My father and I are thrilled to join the team and use their expertise to bring Dr. Bombay to life.

“We are thrilled to have Snoop and Cordell in the Food Fighters universe,” Nguyen said in a statement. “This is the first of many concepts to come out of our Web3 restaurant group, and we couldn’t have asked for better partners than Dr. Bombay and Champs Medici.”
Other FFU partners include Texas rapper Bun B of UGK, entrepreneur and NBA All-Star Baron Davis, and NFT consultant and mentor Josh Ong.
“I saw what they did with Burr & Hungry in Long Beach, and I said, ‘We need to work with these guys,'” Broadus said in the release. “Without knowing him personally, I came and spoke at his grand opening in April because I had so much faith in it. Food Fighters Universe is bridging the gap between food and web3 and opening a path for NFTs with real-life utility. This is the future of the restaurant industry, and my father and I are thrilled to join the team and use their expertise to bring Dr. Bombay to life.”
Officials said details about the concept and timing of the dessert have not yet been revealed, but it will take place in Los Angeles.
Dog has expanded his brand in a number of ways, including a partnership with Martha Stewart, which has led to a series of cooking shows. He’s partnered with Indogo Gin and has worked with winemaker 19 Crimes on a Snoop Cali Red.
Earlier this year, he bought Death Row Records, the label that helped launch his music career and brought gangster rap to the mainstream.
Food Fighters Universe
FFU was founded in March by Orange County entrepreneurs Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo and Phillip Huynh. They are the team behind “Bored & Hungry,” the first NFT-themed restaurant.
Food Fighters Universe will also be launching the NFT collection of Food Fighters this month. To clarify, these are 10,000 unique tokens on the ETH blockchain.
FFU will develop restaurants with funding from sales of its NFTs and offer special experiences, free food rewards and other perks for its NFT holders
