Paris, France – Cordell Broadus, son of Snoop Dogg and leading Web3 entrepreneur/investor, together with global creator company Gushcloud launched The Champ Medici Lounge in Paris on March 24, 2023, closing Paris Blockchain Week.

The Web3-centric gathering also functioned as a complementary activation for Snoop Dogg’s inaugural post-pandemic tour. Notably, the event marked the first occasion where the father-and-son pair hosted a gathering, particularly geared towards the Web3 community.

The Champ Medici Lounge in Paris hosted a gathering of prominent founders and investors in the fields of Web3, digital assets, crypto, blockchain, and music. The event was organized in collaboration with several notable companies, including Gushcloud International – a global creator company, Sandbox – a social games metaverse, Claynation – a successful NFT company, and Ledger – a secure gateway for crypto and NFT.

The Champ Medici Lounge in Paris comprised both a daytime and nighttime event. During the daytime portion, there were several key activations, including panel sessions that explored the future of investing, as well as mentoring sessions where influential figures from the industry gathered to exchange investment advice and discuss potential opportunities.

At the panel sessions, Welcome to the Block’s Shiv Jain, Sebastien Borget, and Arthur Madrid from Sandbox, and Broadus discussed their perspectives on investing in Web3’s future. Additionally, Lenna Onto from Claynation and Eugenie Mentre from Ledger joined Broadus to delve into the creation of Snoop’s NFT music project, the process of minting NFTs, and the key components to building a successful NFT project.

The evening affair was a lavish pop-up lounge held at Club L’Arc Paris, which featured a unique physical Sandbox experience. The event included a captivating performance by DJ Snoopadelic, also known as the renowned hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg, as well as appearances by TEAM WANG artist Laurie and DJ Sallah. Broadus also surprised attendees with a rap performance of his own.

“Over the past year, we have been successfully active alongside some of the biggest events and festivals globally. I am thrilled to be in Paris with my father, who is also on tour. This is the 50th year of Hip Hop. In the future, especially for this year, we will organize a celebration for the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop in collaboration with Hip Hop Gold in Web3; we hope to use the culture to encourage and educate more people about Web3, cryptocurrency and NFT,” Cordell Broadus said.

The Champ Medici Lounge in Paris was also the unofficial starting point for Hip Hop Gold’s 50th-anniversary celebration. Hip Hop Gold aims to showcase the history and journey of hip-hop as a musical genre and lifestyle, from its birth in New York to its evolution as a cultural revolution, told from the perspective of the godfather of hip-hop himself, Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons, and award-winning female hip hop artist MC Lyte.

Previously, Cordell Broadus and Gushcloud brought the Champ Medici Lounge to Coachella Weekend (April 2022), NFT NYC Week (June 2022), F1 Singapore (September 2022), and Miami Art Basel (December 2022).
