Samsung accelerates its metaverse with the launch of the experimental virtual park “Space Tycoon” on Roblox.

The company launches a virtual hub on the metaverse platform for users to experience and interact with its products in 3D virtual spaces.

This is not the Korean tech giant’s first foray into the metaverse. The company’s latest product range was introduced through an event hosted in the metaverse.

The company also held the “Superstar Galaxy” virtual concert on Roblox on June 17.

The Samsung Space Tycoon metaverse will allow users to create and play games and share experiences with its flagship products. They will be able to create space-based characters inspired by the traditional corporate tycoon world.

The company’s new product targets the tech-savvy Generation Z demographic who spend much of their time interacting online.

The experiential virtual park offers them an integrated metaverse experience where they can create and enjoy their own Samsung products.

Jinsoo Kim, Executive Vice President of the Corporate Design Center at Samsung Electronics, said the virtual center will offer users unlimited possibilities to experience virtual spaces.

“We wanted to give our Generation Z customers the opportunity to experience Samsung products in a way they never have before. We will continue to showcase content that can deliver more meaningful and entertaining digital experiences to both our current and future customers,” Kim added.

The immersive gaming zone is set in the Samsung Space Station and comes stacked with more than 20 Samsung products, ready for purchase. The colors of the purchased items change randomly based on the level achieved by players.

The Space Tycoon metaverse will debut in 14 languages, including Korean, English, Chinese and Spanish.

The company plans to add more features in due course, allowing fans to interact with each other, share their creations or attend exclusive virtual parties.

Samsun launched its Web3 campaign earlier this year when it announced that its latest TV model would have NFT integration.

The recent metaverse products give the tech giant a firm grip on a sector that is rapidly emerging in the technology space.
