Ralph Lauren has partnered with Fortnite to create a phygital fashion collection that expands its presence in the metaverse. The fashion brand has designed digital fashion in the game with a specially redesigned logo for this collaboration.
The reimagined Ralph Lauren logo features its iconic polo player sitting atop the Fortnite flame logo. It will be seen on digital apparel, including two “Polo 1991” jumpsuits, as well as some physical products, such as sweaters, polo shirts and others inspired by Fortnite’s digital appearances.

A digital boot designed by Ralph Lauren for Fortnite will also be available in physical in the coming months. The first phygital drop will launch online on Nov. 2, while the second will be available online and in Ralph Lauren stores on Dec. 1.
Prices for the Fortnite pieces range from 1300 to 1500 Vbux, or $10.39 to $11.99, and the physical garments will range from $59.50 to $188.
Ralph Lauren looks and associated in-game accessories will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on November 5.

The fashion brand will also host the Polo Stadium Cup, a Fortnite virtual tournament. Participants will have the opportunity to win in-game rewards, including early access to Ralph Lauren offers.
Owned by parent company Epic Games, which raised $2 billion in funding to build its metaverse, Fortnite boasts some 80 million monthly active users.
While this figure pales in comparison to Roblox’s 200 million monthly active users, the online gaming platform has established partnerships with fashion brands such as Moncler and Balenciaga.
According to software and data company Geeiq, Fortnite players connect the most with brands such as Supreme, Under Armour, North Face, Rolex and Ray-Ban.
“Our partnership represents a fresh take on the Ralph Lauren brand, designing first for the metaverse, which is entirely focused on the future,” the fashion company said.

A few months ago, Polo Ralph Lauren, a company registered 9 trademarks for its name and logo in the metaverse, and has also trademarked its polo player logo and the names Polo and Ralph Lauren.
In addition, Ralph Lauren has already partnered with Bitmoji to create a branded digital wardrobe designed especially for avatars, a Roblox experience with winter sports looks and the design of avatar sets in Zepeto.
Fortnite and the Web3
iHeartMedia launched its first virtual world in Fortnite called iHeartLand, in order to expand its marketing investments in the Metaverse and reach younger audiences.
And the beauty products arm of the famous Italian luxury fashion house, Armani Beauty, dipped into the Metaverse, launching a new game in Fortnite, called “Rewrite the Code.”
Epic Games and Web3
Starting this year, The LEGO Group and Epic Games entered into a long-term partnership to shape the future of the metaverse and make it safe and fun for kids and families. The two companies will team up to create an immersive, creative and engaging digital experience for kids of all ages to enjoy together.
Next, global advertising company WPP announced a partnership with Epic Games to help WPP agencies deliver customized brand experiences in the metaverse.
Also, Epic Games and NASA teamed up to create a contest with them and Buendea to develop a simulation of the Martian metaverse.
On the other hand, the blockchain gaming company, Gala Games, announced that it would publish its titles on the Epic Games Store with the debut of Grit, a battle royale set in the Wild West.
In addition, Blankos Block Party, a web creation game powered by NFT, debuted on the Epic Games Store, representing the first Web3 title to be published on the popular global PC gaming marketplace.
And most recently, Star Atlas gave fans a small taste of the game for an incredible experience as a limited demo was released on the Epic Games Store.
