Pico Interactive announced its next VR headset: Pico 4 Enterprise is designed for professional enterprise applications. It looks like Pico 4, but offers eye and face tracking.
Pico 4 is the first real competition for Meta’s Quest 2 standalone VR headset. Pico 4 is officially available in Europe from October 18, 2022, but there are supply issues. Demand is very high, according to official sources.

Now, Pico Interactive follows up with the announcement of the enterprise version of Pico 4.
Pico 4 Enterprise: Competition to Quest Pro?
The specifications of the Pico 4 Enterprise change only a few points from the Pico 4. The enterprise VR headset offers eye and face tracking. The eye-tracking system automatically adjusts the interpupillary distance.
The Pico 4 Enterprise is intended to compete with the Quest Pro, Meta’s new enterprise VR headset. Like the Pico 4 Enterprise, the Quest Pro offers color pass-through video, as well as eye and face tracking.
However, in terms of price, the two devices differ significantly: while Quest Pro costs €1,799, Pico 4 Enterprise is only priced at €899.
Hardware specifications
The standalone VR display (HMD) is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor for industry-leading computation and seamless integration with the latter’s Snapdragon Spaces program.
Other features include a crisp 4K display with 1200 pixels per inch and 2160 x 2160 resolution, a 105-degree field of view (FoV) and 70/90 refresh rates for optimal immersive experiences.

It also includes two 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) controllers with hand, eye and face tracking from the headset’s integrated front sensors for seamless tracking capabilities.
To enhance imaging, the Pico 4 Enterprise also includes 35.8mm pancake lenses for a lighter, more compact form factor and greater clarity, along with additional interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment.
The headset also offers ergonomically balanced front and back weight distribution, with a hard strap and adjustment wheel for more comfortable and extended business use. The device’s DU foam face mask also removes for easy cleaning, readjustment and replacement when needed.
In addition, the Pico 4 Enterprise offers spatial audio for fully immersive sound quality.
Pico promises data privacy
Pico 4 Enterprise comes with the so-called Business Suite. This is supposed to manage information and workflows in a secure environment. Synchronization, streaming and kiosk mode are the three main features. In addition, there is a dedicated business app store.
At the unveiling of the new virtual reality headset, Pico Interactive stressed that data privacy is its top priority. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Pico’s parent company ByteDance (TikTok), especially in the B2B sector, as TikTok is known for sending user data to China.
Pico Interactive is aiming for ISO 27001 information security certification in early 2023.
Pico 4 Enterprise: Launching and pre-ordering
Pico 4 Enterprise will be available for pre-order from November 1, 2022. Pico Interactive states that “general availability” will be in early December 2022.
