OpenSea, the leading NFT marketplace by trading volume, has announced that it will now accept ApeCoin, the cryptocurrency of Bored Ape Yacht Club.
As part of the launch of the Otherside metaverse from Bored Ape Yacht Club creators Yuga Labs, OpenSea, the leading NFT marketplace, has announced that it now accepts ApeCoin.
This comes just days after APE became the largest metaverse token by market capitalization.
ApeCoin, at the time of this writing, is up 1.3% in the last 24 hours and more than 33% in the last week, according to data compiled by CoinMarketCap.

Otherside is a metaverse game world – built in partnership with game publisher NFT Animoca Brands – that includes several projects, such as the Apes, CryptoPunks, Meebits and Cool Cats.
Yuga Labs is also planning to release “Otherdeed” NFTs, which are believed to be similar to The Sandbox and Decentraland which signify virtual land ownership.
The Otherdeeds will be offered for sale publicly, and will be given to the owners of Bored Ape and Mutant Ape.
