NYX Professional Makeup launches DAO GORJS to empower NFT content creators and artists in the Web3 world.

NYX Makeup GORJS: How does the new DAO work?

Popular makeup brand NYX kicks off 2023 by entering the Web3 world. Its first major project, titled GORJS, is a community-focused DAO that supports beauty in all its forms.

The new organization will celebrate the diversity of creators and encourage their advancement in the digital age.

For example, artists will be able to obtain funding for their new NFT projects and reach a global audience. In the future, the NYX team will also launch a creator suite to help users bring their visions to life.

Indeed, this unique journey begins with FKWME: the NFT passes that give access to the NYX GORJS DAO. The digital assets will be sold on February 1 at a price of 0.19 ETH per unit.

All subsequent NFT releases of the upcoming GORJS seasonal collections will be available through OpenSea.

Benefits for FKME Pass holders?

First of all, each holder will receive NFT drops from upcoming GORJS seasonal collections. This means you can receive a collectible from every funded NFT project that goes live in a quarter of the year.

In addition, all FKME pass holders can vote on important decisions within the DAO, such as the funding of future NFT projects, exclusive releases, and much more. Other important benefits include:

  • Token allocation to determine governance;
  • Token performance for voting and bidding on shares.

DAO’s founding team is made up of NYX Professional Makeup team leaders and NFT experts. From 3D artists like Thomas Ntamtsios to developers and designers like Aurora Achille, Team Alpha aims to push the boundaries of the beauty world in the digital age.

However, the project also boasts an impressive advisory board. Core members include Sebastien Borget (co-founder of The Sandbox), Brian Trunzo of Polygon Labs, and Evelyn Mora of Digital Village, to name a few.

Yann Joffredo, Global Brand President of NYX Cosmetics” said, “With this first FKWME NFT collection, GORJS is elevating 3D creators across the industry, cultivating equity, innovation, and growth in the community and providing them with a path to success within the Web3 ecosystem.

NYX and web3

NYX has already taken many steps in this direction through the launch of various initiatives; last month it unveiled its most recent metaverse initiative, “House of NYX Professional Makeup,” to showcase its 2023 makeup collection, while last May it delved into the metaverse with a unique meta-pride virtual fashion show.
