NBA basketball player Kevin Durant, of the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets, has partnered with his venture capital firm Thirty Five Ventures LLC, May 19 filed as many as 26 metaverse and NFT trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
According to the applications, filed with the USPTO on May 19, the company plans to provide:
- NFTs and NFT-backed media
- Cryptocurrency collectibles
- NFT and crypto marketplaces
The news was shared earlier today via Twitter by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis.
