LOST, Hong Kong’s real-life escape game company, is launching a new escape room in the metaverse. This one-of-a-kind virtual escape room will begin on May 15 and is a play to learn and play to win experience.
Players will be able to enjoy all the mystery and teamwork elements of a real-life escape room while sitting comfortably in their own homes. In addition, players can earn rewards for their efforts in the game.
What is the LOST metaverse escape room?
LOST can use available technology to create a truly breathtaking escape room, far from the constraints of reality. While real-world escape rooms have their limitations due to factors such as space, finances and creative elements, the metaverse does not.
Players must navigate a series of puzzles and riddles, just like in real-life escape rooms, to find their way out. Each time they unlock a treasure box, they move one step closer to freedom.
LOST has chosen several creative scenarios for its metaverse escape room. These rooms are inspired by fictional events, historical stories and myths from around the world. The plans are incredibly immersive and are adventure games, both online and offline.
Significantly, players can switch between the physical and virtual worlds as they complete tasks. In doing so, they earn metaverse tokens and NFTs.
But that’s not all. LOST is also building a metaverse escape room for children ages 6 to 14. LOST junior is an experiential education game that teaches kids how to learn to tell stories. It also includes scientific explanations and develops social skills as they play and collect rewards alone or with an online team.
Finally, LOST plans to open a whole world of games alongside its escape room metaverse in the future.
Rick Woo, founder of LOST, stated:
“In the future, LOST hopes to build a virtual world based on Web 3.0 and will be called LOST Island: an ultimate game world of a gaming ecosystem with infinite possibilities, which will define the new GameFi.”
