[SINGAPORE, FRIDAY, 24 MAY 2024] MON Protocol, a developer and leading publisher of blockchain-native IPs and games, has announced the upcoming listing of its MON token on major exchanges Bybit, Backpack Exchange, BingX, Bitget, Gate.io, HTX, and MEXC. Mechanics for the token launch will vary across platforms, with each exchange set to make its own announcement over the coming days.
MON serves as the ecosystem token for MON Protocol, whose community-focused model has built a dedicated user base of over 1 million web3-savvy gamers and fans. The chain-agnostic publisher has released web3 games across Base, Immutable and Mantle. Since its launch in February 2024, MON Protocol has also been endorsed as the publisher of choice by top gaming chains Aptos, Immutable and Solana, setting a new standard for community-first publishing in web3 gaming ecosystems.
As the first IP to be published via MON Protocol, Pixelmon will use the MON token to power its growing catalog of games. Its first title, PixelPals, achieved nearly 500,000 players within two months of launch. Its much-anticipated real-time monster battler Warriors of Nova Thera is on track to be published later in 2024, while its open-world role-playing game Hunting Grounds will go live in 2025 — both via MON Protocol.

Aside from the Pixelmon-developed games, there are over 60 partners committed to MON Protocol. These include web3 games, game studios, ecosystems and trading platforms. Holders of the MON token who stake their tokens will also be eligible for rewards from MON protocol partners when they launch.
