Kuniverse is a space built in collaboration with the company Eter Studio, which specializes in immersive experiences in the metaverse.
“The metaverse and Web3 open infinite universes to connect with people from all over the world and build fun digital communities, where everyone has the freedom to build their characters as they prefer,” further said Sergio “Kun” Agüero.
The first season of Kuniverse and the NFT avatars will officially launch on November 6. Although the platform already offers early access through a whitelist on Kun Agüero’s Discord channel.

According to The Sandbox, those who sign up for the whitelist will be able to access the pre-sale of NFTs one day before the public sale.
The Sandbox will limit the sale of NFTs to a maximum of 5 avatars per wallet to ensure a fairer distribution.
“Kun Aguero’s popularity has transcended the global soccer and gaming communities, and we are thrilled to bring him to the open metaverse with The Sandbox,” said Sebastien Borget, COO and co-founder of The Sandbox. “We’re looking forward to seeing the Kuniverse come to life as a creative space full of fun activities, not only for Kun fans but for The Sandbox community as a whole.”
Kun stated that this first phase will be full of surprises and benefits related to its 9,320 NFT avatars, created to be able to explore and be part of this virtual world.
The avatars are inspired by the different facets of Kun’s career and his most important moments in the sport.
In total, there are 5 levels of rarity for these avatars: Football Kuns, E-Kuns, Future Kuns, Robot Kuns and Special Kuns.
A virtual soccer stadium
The Sandbox revealed in a statement that Kuniverse will take the form of a huge stadium with football-themed games in its first season.
It will also include dancing and even a “food truck” or food trailer that will offer Argentinean grills and dishes, among other experiences.
Kun assured that he will play an active role within Kuniverse to welcome users and connect more directly with all his fans.
The former soccer player will play live and also share Kuniverse content through his Twitch streaming channel, the metaverse platform reported.
Kun Agüero launched his Esports club KRU last year, which gathers more than 4 million followers through the Twitch streaming platform.
