KlayMeta, the play-and-earn blockchain game, wants to break the blockchain playing field with an all-in-one metaverse powered by a strong community.
Blockchain games are considered the future of gaming in the cryptocurrency space. However, while VC firms continue to pour money into the industry, a large part of the mainstream gaming market refuses to be swayed.
We can refer to Ubisoft’s failed attempt to introduce in-game assets in Ghost Recon, or even, more recently, Minecraft’s decision to ban NFTs on its platform. Such has been the wild west of cryptocurrency gaming.
Mainstream gamers believe that the current blockchain gaming model is driven by greed, which often contributes to lower quality games. This has become a big hassle for avid game enthusiasts within the community who simply want to have fun.

Play and Earn
Blockchain game developers have adopted a more conservative model called “play and Earn” to remedy the situation. This concept specializes in building game economies that target growing a laugh games with a few factors of ownership and crypto rewards.
Since the goal is to build communities by incorporating mainstream players, some blockchain game creators who want to start from scratch have difficulty achieving their goals.
On the other hand, conventional game creators who want to add some sort of profit mechanism to their games without compromising quality face strong opposition from their communities.
This creates a dilemma that can be solved by bringing the two groups of players together through a platform that allows players who want to do so to use blockchain-based characters and features in their recreation without disrupting the economic version of the game they are playing.
Crypto gamers who want to play high quality games without leaving the blockchain can also benefit from the same platform.
There are not many web3 platforms that can provide such an experience. This is where KlayMeta, a web3 gaming ecosystem built on top of the Klayton blockchain, South Korea’s leading blockchain network, comes in.

What is KlayMeta?
KlayMeta is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) built on the Klaytn blockchain. The game is scheduled to go multi-chain with the addition of the BNB blockchain in October, giving players access to more cryptocurrencies.
The game is based on the “play and earn” model, where players can earn rewards and NFT from their gaming activity. KlayMeta also has an internal NFT platform, which allows players to trade and exchange tokens, as well as convert in-game NFT assets into the KlayMeta $META utility token.
The problem KlayMeta aims to solve
KlayMeta has been created to solve one of the most pressing problems in the blockchain-enabled gaming industry. The platform wants to give smaller blockchain gaming platforms a chance to gain mainstream players, thus accelerating community growth. On the other hand,
On the other hand, traditional gaming titles that want to offer their players the opportunity to experiment with NFTs and cryptocurrencies do not have to integrate the entire concept into their games. This protects them from dealing with backlash from traditional game enthusiasts.
One beneficiary of this concept is Hero Blaze: Three Kingdoms, a mobile game that works completely off-chain. Players earn MUDOL stones by playing, which can be exchanged for $MUDOL2 tokens on the KlayMeta platform.
Thus, KlayMeta’s gaming platform acts as an all-in-one gaming metaverse that links the mainstream to the blockchain, helping to onboard the masses on web3/bring web3 to the masses.
The company’s game also offers some unique gameplay concepts and characters, including the ability to merge NFT avatars for more powers and abilities.
KlayMeta’s platform allows players to take advantage of off-chain products without interrupting their gameplay. This allows them to exchange the game’s native token for off-chain tokens and vice versa.
The game has tried to separate on-chain activities from off-chain events, thus eliminating any possibility of game interruption. Activities such as in-game transactions and wallet connections do not interfere with game play.
The future of KlayMeta
In retrospect, the KlayMeta gaming platform still has a long way to go before it reaches its goal. According to KlayMeta’s roadmap, the game’s major release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023, along with an update to its stock market planned for November.
The company continues to add new features to the game, such as summoning and fusion, which may take the community some time to understand.
While fusion allows players to generate new NFT characters by combining a base avatar with a sacrificial avatar, summoning allows players to summon an NFT avatar of their liking. Both activities require players to spend game tokens.
