The electronic music festival celebrates with an EDC-inspired NFT collection curated by WAYF and an NFT Genesis by Tiësto.

Insomniac’s NFT gallery features some of the world’s biggest NFTs for sale

This year, Insomniac launches the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas Art Gallery, where fans of electronic dance music (EDM) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) can enjoy and purchase a unique collection of NFTs co-created by EDM artists and icons of the NFT community for a limited time. This event also includes a Genesis NFT giveaway by the legendary Tijs Michiel Verwest, known professionally as DJ Tiësto.

Tiësto will unveil an exclusive NFT at EDC Las Vegas, announcing his upcoming Genesis NFT project “Eagle” – the first phase and introduction of his digital roadmap alongside his label Musical Freedom.

NFT holders for EDC Las Vegas will get VIP priority access to the NFT “Eagle” project and a preview of Tiësto’s unreleased music, including Musical Freedom’s Repeat It and access to other exclusive opportunities.

The eagle seen on the NFT appeared at a performance by Tiesto earlier this year i in March and will be seen on display during his performance this Saturday at EDC Las Vegas.

EDC Las Vegas 2022’s exclusive NFT gallery experience opens today and will feature some of the rarest and most coveted NFT collections in the metaverse at the legendary weekend-long Las Vegas electronic music festival.

TIËSTO “All Access Eagle”

WAYF has assembled an impressive collection of top-tier NFT projects at EDC and activated a diverse and innovative community focused on important social causes. NFTs will also be available for sale – not mintage – at a fixed price, with limited inventory on the NFT LGND art platform for seven days after the EDC. Some NFT will donate a percentage of sale proceeds to charities such as Rise Above The Disorder, Surfrider Foundation, Stop Asian Hate, Murphslife Foundation and Best Friends Animal Society.

“Music and art are the great communicators that connect us all,” said Ty Carter, LGND‘s chief creative officer. “The NFT medium continues to evolve into new forms using new technologies, transforming the way we interact between analog and virtual. LGND is proud to power this immersive gallery curated by WAYF and to work with this historic group of artists.”

Located across from Pixel Forest among the mushroom trees between neonGarden and bionicJungle, We Are Your “Frens” (WAYF) and LGND’s NFT art gallery will allow EDC attendees to explore, interact and connect with reimagined derivative artwork from some of the biggest names in the NFT world including Azuki, Moonbirds, Dippies, Sol Flowers, Nyan Heroes, The Catalina Whale Mixer and a few surprise additions at EDC Las Vegas.

A crazy NFT giveaway at the music festival

As an official sponsor of EDC 2022, Zash Global Media, the group of media companies overseen by accomplished disruptor Ted Farnsworth, will be releasing surprise NFTs during EDC. The NFTs will drop from space via satellite to the EDC audience. Specifically, two NFTs will be dropped in collaboration with a headliner and a guest artist during their respective performances. Zash will also be giving away a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT valued at $300,000.

NFTs can be purchased at LGND from tomorrow at midnight UTC through Friday, May 27 at 21:00 UTC.
