Illuvium has unveiled the alpha version of Zero, its mobile and desktop software intended for major platforms, such as Windows, Mac and Android devices.
The creators of the project recently stated that they are working hard to try to realize as many projects as possible this year.
Illuvium alpha version
The long-awaited alpha release is a significant triumph for Illuvium’s roster this year and is expected to be followed by more projects in Illuvium’s arsenal.
Despite market uncertainty, Illuvium engineers are working to meet 2023 deadlines and maintain their extensive roster of commitments. The launch of Illuvium: Zero Alpha will allow Illuvium to substantially advance its goals for this year.

The Alpha launch will be the first opportunity for Illuvium landowners to play their plots in the game. The launch of the game will also allow the development team to conduct large-scale testing and analysis.
The alpha testing of the Illuvium: Zero companion app will be divided into two seasons. Season 0, the initial season, will last six to eight weeks.
All game data, including projects, will be deleted and restored at the end of the season. Season 0 is designed to allow the development team to fix bugs, resolve balance issues and avoid difficulties that could arise if player data were reset.
After Season 0, the game will enter Season 1, which will last until the game enters open beta, at the end of season 1 there will be a data release again.
According to Illuvium, the profit economy will not be operational in the Alpha release; instead, players will be able to mint discovered projects as NFTs during the final months of Season 1. Newly earned NFTs will be used for the creation of new projects.
Newly earned NFTs will survive the Alpha data reset and can be used to create skins in the Outer World once Illuvium enters Open Beta.
Users must own at least one terrain to gain access to the alpha version of Illuvium: Zero. Illuvidex allows users to purchase plots.
It should be noted that free-to-play plots will not be available during the alpha testing period, but will be included in a future release.
Also, since the free-to-play plot will not be linked to the blockchain, users will not be able to transfer anything from the game.
