A World Cup winner, Mbappé is one of soccer’s greatest talents. The 23-year-old is also a philanthropist, as he has his own non-profit company, Inspired By KM (IBKM), which provides Web3 technology education to underprivileged youth.
In this partnership, Sorare will support IBKM and provide the organization with training, lectures, equipment and a special diploma for the youth IBKM works with. Sorare will also auction a rare Mbappé digital card, the proceeds of which will go entirely to the charity.
A world champion addition to our team.

“Off the pitch, the most important thing for me is to help young people – who may not have access to the kind of opportunities that others have – to realize and fulfill their dreams and potential. And with new technologies offering such profound opportunities, I wanted to partner with an ambitious, global tech brand that felt identified with the young people whose dreams we are supporting,” said Kylian Mbappé.
Mbappé’s deal with Sorare comes shortly after he signed a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain. The soccer team recently entered Web3 with a new branding application and a metaverse project with Taiwanese pop singer Jay Chou.

The soccer star joins Sorare at a time of rapid expansion and growth for the platform. Last year, Sorare was valued at $4.3 billion after raising $680 million in a Series B funding round led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2. It also recently closed its first partnership outside of soccer with Major League Baseball.
“Kylian Mbappé is one of the most talented, celebrated and recognizable athletes in modern sport. He is a true soccer icon and will undoubtedly be one of the most important figures in world soccer for years to come. And like Sorare, he has boundless ambition, moves quickly on and off the pitch, has a truly global reach and is committed to enacting positive change in the world,” said Nicolas Julia, CEO and co-founder of Sorare. “We are thrilled to have Kylian join Sorare on our journey to connect millions of sports fans around the world with their favorite athletes in innovative new ways.”
Mbappé joins other world-famous athletes such as Serena Williams and Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué andRio Ferdinand as Sorare sponsors. Serena Williams joined the company as an advisor in January.
