European Blockchain Convention returns to Barcelona next June

The latest edition of EBC, one of the largest blockchain events in Europe, will take place in Barcelona next month, June 26-28.

Since its launch in 2018, European Blockchain Convention has grown to become one of the most important blockchain events in Europe. At its core, its mission is to inform, educate and connect the global blockchain community. In fact, EBC has held six large-scale events in the past four years.

The three-day event will take place at the 5-star Hyatt Regency Barcelona hotel. There it will host more than 1,000 attendees, making it the largest European Blockchain Convention to date.

Notably, this is the first face-to-face European Blockchain Convention event in two years. Like many in-person events, the EBC has had to shift all of its events online in the wake of Covid-19. European Blockchain Convention co-executive director Victoria Gago spoke about the excitement of EBC returning to being a face-to-face event.

“It’s our return. After two years of zooming meetings and working from home, we are thrilled to be able to hold a physical event in Barcelona this year,” she said.

Still, EBC has managed to organize several well-attended virtual events over the past two years. For example, the convention hosted more than 10,000 attendees at several online events in 2021.
