ENGAGE launches ENGAGE Link, the education and enterprise metaverse company, has launched its Link social platform, which the company calls a “complete corporate metaverse.”

The enterprise metaverse service launches with partners such as Lenovo and HTC VIVE.

Engage XR has launched LINK, an enterprise-grade metaverse platform that provides companies with persistent virtual offices, locations and environments. In addition, the launch of the LINK product completes ENGAGE’s transition to a metaverse technology enterprise.

ENGAGE Link manages multiple “metaworlds,” which enterprise customers run as a persistent, always-online business center. ENGAGE also enables users to move between metaworlds through immersive portals, which the company enhanced in its version three upgrade ahead of LINK’s debut.

ENGAGE Professional Metaverse Platform

The platform also contains Virtual Campus, Virtual Office and Virtual Events as integrated sister solutions to suit different business use cases. LINK contains unified hubs where users can move between spaces tailored for socializing, collaboration and training.

David Whelan, CEO of ENGAGE XR, said, “While other metaverses have focused on social, advertising and entertainment opportunities, we have focused on creating a platform that allows businesses to better engage with their employees, customers and suppliers around the world, and educational institutions with students.”

In addition, users can use the LINK service on various devices from headset manufacturers such as Meta, Pico and HTC VIVE.

Tailored MetaWorlds

ENGAGE has designed the LINK platform for businesses, professionals, educational organizations and event organizers to manage customized virtual spaces.

The platform’s built-in creative design tools allow inexperienced users to create presentations and events using real-time 3D (RT3D) assets from ENGAGE’s built-in immersive content library. In addition, users can import various custom file types to meet their needs.

Enterprise customers can create custom Metaworlds, or developers can collaborate with the ENGAGE team on RT3D world creation. Metaworlds provide companies with a space to communicate with their customers, employees and suppliers.

ENGAGE LINK provides a broad customer base with a variety of tools and environments to enhance remote communication and guidance.

David also added, “With an increased focus on sustainability and hybrid work, the stage is set for the metaverse to change the way companies do business, and how they communicate with employees, customers and each other.”

The persistent design of the platform means that users can visit and socialize with other professionals in the customer-built Metaworld at any time. The persistent environment supports functions such as a stock exchange ticker.

Custom-built squares

ENGAGE LINK builds its world from several locations known as Plazas. The service uses digital portals that the user passes through to transport themselves into a company’s virtual meta-world.

ENGAGE is attracting many companies to participate in virtual business operations on LINK. The company already has a wide range of initial enterprise customers who are leveraging LINK for virtual meetings, training days, product launches, demonstrations and events. Some of ENGAGE LINK’s launch partners include KPMG US, KIA, Adtalem, MTN Group and musician and producer Fatboy Slim.

In addition, Jason McGuigan, director of commercial VR at Lenovo, a LINK launch partner, added, “Lenovo is creating cutting-edge solutions like ThinkReality VRX to enable our customers to embrace and expand immersive experiences for work. Lenovo’s presence at ENGAGE Link is a valuable opportunity to interact with customers, developers and VRX industry leaders to explore and create value together.”

LINK Launching Plazas

ENGAGE LINK has four initial Plaza environments created especially for its enterprise customers:

Enterprise Plaza is a unifying hub that enables ENGAGE LINK’s key enterprise customers to collaborate and socialize. Companies such as HTC, KIA, KPMG US, Lenovo and MTN currently use this space.

Education Plaza is a virtual education center that provides a space for training and learning. In addition, ENGAGE launched its service as an immersive education group before the company expanded its coverage to enterprises, making it a trusted teaching tool. Educational groups, such as Optima Ed, Adtalem, the Patti and Allan Herbert School of Business at the University of Miami and Stanford University, have been installed on LINK. In addition, VictoryXR works with the ENGAGE LINK platform to host its “Metaversities” project; the Meta-funded program created digital twins of ten U.S. universities that thousands of students can access virtually through LINK.

Creative Plaza invites artists, creatives, content studios and brands to collaborate on groundbreaking design projects and convey ideas that push the boundaries of a place in the Metaverse.

In early 2023, Fatboy Slim will perform a full concert in the Creative Plaza metaverse.

The Central Plaza is the starting point for new visitors to the ENGAGE Link metaverse. Used as a meeting place and for events. Avatars can teleport to other locations in the ENGAGE metaverse.

Visitors can simply walk through portals to other locations within the ENGAGE metaverse.
