MContent launches the Project Black NFT collection in Dubai
The debut of the NFT collection took place last Friday, April 22, with Super Car Blondie and Arab GT hosting the event launch. MContent sold ownership of the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series to 12 NFT buyers.
Owners will get an NFT artwork, both digital and physical, designed by Idriss B, an artist whose celebrity clientele includes Akon, Lindsey Lohan and Snoop Dogg.
More importantly, they will own and drive a Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series for one month each year. With a hand-crafted engine and more than 700 horsepower, the model is coveted by car enthusiasts.
In a few years, MContent will resell the car and redistribute the value to its NFT holders. In addition, MContent said it will donate a specified amount of the proceeds from NFT sales to the Rashid Center for People with Determination.
According to Umair Masoom, founder and CEO of MContent: “Web3 is designed to bring scalable and creative solutions that address the supply, demand, affordability and financing gaps that exist in different sectors around the world.
Our innovative NFT format, called Project Black, is a starting point for selling product experiences to more consumers than available inventory. “
