3DforScience is pleased to announced the launch of DNAverse, the world’s first project to integrate users’ real DNA data into personalized artwork NFTs. A historical collection inspired by proteins essential for life and composed of 200 genesis cryptoproteins and 3,000 DNA passes. Based on the 2021 preview in Science magazine, this project paves the way to a genetic metaverse.
A team of 3D artists and scientists have collaborated closely to ensure 100% scientific accuracy with the precision of the Protein Data Bank. Each NFT is individually handcrafted and includes a genetic study and a fully customized artistic interpretation of the collectors own DNA (DNArts). NFTs can be deposited in a sustainable, decentralized business model to offer long-term rewards to their holders.
“Our mission is to replicate life and open a new path for humanity to thrive in the Metaverse,” says David Torrico, artistic director and co-founder, who adds, “This is just a disruptive first step in our roadmap. DNAverse aims to preserve the essence of life and connect our souls with virtual worlds by blending both worlds organically and artistically.”
By allowing NFTs and virtual avatars in the community to inherit their genetics, we initiate a movement based on human digital verification, organic NFTs and Bioavatars. The genetic information is handled anonymously, securely and exclusively by a licensed DNA laboratory. As an exclusive benefit for DNAverse collectors, encryption of genetic information on the blockchain will be optionally offered.
Javier M. Floren, CEO and co-founder of 3DforScience and DNAverse, comments, “This is a historic milestone that empowers future digital relationships, which is precisely what makes DNAVERSE disruptive, meaningful and scalable. In the near future, we will all be surfing the web 3.0. Our vision is to humanize Metaverses with verified human-like profiles that will carry our own genetic personalization, thus distinguishing us from AI bots.”
Founded in 2012, 3DforScience is a renowned scientific visualization company that provides innovative solutions to clients in the life sciences sector to empower their communication capabilities.
DNAVERSE is the world’s first NFT collection customized with real DNA data, built on a utility business model that initiates the BIOmetaverse.
DNAverse NFT Collection
Cryptoproteins. DNA passes. rtDNA. They are the very fabric of the DNAverse. But what do they all mean? What is their function? And, more importantly, how do you get them?
The Genesis Drop
In real life, proteins are an essential part of all living organisms. They shape the structure and functionality of cells and participate in the synthesis of the elements necessary for the miracle of life.
The genesis of the DNAverse depends on cryptoproteins. A collection of 200 essential and unique NFTs that provide the basis for life itself in the Metaverse. Built in 3D by 3DforScience’s talented team of designers and animators, and with the exact same biological structure as their organic analogs, the Cryptoproteins are encoded with a combination of multiple properties and traits to allow life in the DNAverse to thrive, with diversity.
Cryptoproteins will be imbued with a mixture of six key distinguishing characteristics that make up their individual and unique properties:
- Concentration (4 subtraits)
- Recovery (4 subtraits)
- Soul (18 subtraits)
- Chroma (12 subtraits)
- DNA Capsule (8 options)
- Genetization Power (5 subtraits)
There are multiple possible subtraits for each of these main characteristics. This means that the infinite number of possible combinations of specific major traits will allow the creation of truly unique and individual NFT collections.
Safeguarded in the Ethereum network, Cryptoproteins are ERC 721 NFTs, with the token name: CryptoProteins (DNAVRS). They are randomly minted on DNAverse dAPP as 3D art in video format. Holders can earn substantial passive income by gambling, as well as being the ones who decide the price of future DNA passes in the DNA replication process and the members of the future DAO.
In addition, cryptoproteins can be resold in secondary markets.
DNA Passes
The DNA Pass is a redeemable ticket that can be redeemed as a mint pass to obtain your personalized DNArt. This is because the DNArt cannot be purchased directly. It can only be redeemed with a DNA Pass.
The main utility of a #DNAPass is redeeming it and getting a personalized #NFT of your own #DNA that we call #DNArt. However, owners can keep them as a reserve of value, or trade them on secondary markets.
Isn't that out of this world? 😍🧬 pic.twitter.com/pGMuPaqLDZ

Effectively, a DNA Pass is like a voucher or purchase order. Because the process of generating DNArt takes time. Like the down payment for a commissioned artwork.
To create your custom DNArt, we hire a logistics shipping company to send you a DNA sample kit. Once the sample is completed, the kit is returned to our lab, where our designers interpret your DNA data to create your DNArt. This process typically takes less than 40 days.
The utility of a DNA Pass is primarily to redeem the DNArt. However, owners can keep DNA Passes as a store of value, or trade them in secondary markets.
DNAverse will launch with 3000 DNA Passes with six key properties: Genotype (5 levels, with level 0 DNA Passes reserved for owners of cryptoproteins)
- Focus (4 subtraits)
- Recovery (4 subtraits)
- Soul (18 subtraits)
- Chroma (12 subtraits)
- DNA Capsule (8 options)
The combination of these properties and subtraits affects the rarity and design of the DNArt.
DNA passes will be minted on the Polygon network as ERC 721 NFTs with the token name DNA Pass (DNAPASS). All DNA passes will be burned after they have been redeemed.
DNArt
DNArt is the artistic representation of real DNA based on the traits of the redeemed DNA Pass. Each piece of DNArt is handmade and unique, completely personalized by your DNA data, incorporating different traits and designs from those encoded on the DNA Pass.
Essentially, with DNArt you get your own personalized DNA NFT, imbued with your genetic essence. But, in addition, it is an NFT that can be staked and provide you with passive income, plus other benefits such as VIP access to events, the ability to merge your DNA with other NFT collections and human verification in digital worlds.
#DNAverse has a team of top tier artists and scientists working together to create scientific art while ensuring scientific accuracy.✅

Coined on the Polygon network as NFT ERC 721, DNArt takes the form of 3D art in video format. The token name is DNArt (DNART), but you can change the name of your NFT DNArt if you wish.
What happens when all the cryptoproteins and DNA passes have been claimed?
Once all DNA Passes have been claimed and all DNAart has been created, it is time to move on to the Replication Lab for the DNA Replication Process. Here, users wishing to join the DNAverse will have to combine a cryptoprotein with an existing rtDNA to create a new NFT in the collection.
This process is a decentralized business model that will be governed by the community in the future. The Replication Lab rewards owners of both Cryptoproteins and rtDNA NFTs each time they are used in the Replication Process.
