Darewise Entertainment, the international video game studio and subsidiary of Animoca Brands, and digital fashion platform Skinvaders have partnered with luxury footwear brand Swear London to launch the first SWEAR NFT collection in the Life Beyond metaverse.

SWEAR London is building its brand experience in the metaverse to reach many people. In this partnership, Skinvaders will provide Life Beyond with technology for 3D content creation and develop digital fashion for the game.

“With Life Beyond, our ambition is to create a detailed and remarkable fictional virtual international based on current generation, storytelling and global creation. By working with the most talented creators and the brands we love most in the real world, like SWEAR, we are building an interesting, authentic and believable alternate reality.” Skinvaders’ expertise in creating custom elements for the game will also play a key role in this social experience,” said Benjamin Charbit, CEO of Darewise Entertainment.

Charbit was previously game director for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Darewise Entertainment’s core team also includes video game industry veterans such as Marc Albinet, game director for Assassin’s Creed Unity and Dying Light 2; Christian Bravery, art director for Black & White and the Fable series; Samuel Kahn, technical lead for Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine and Crytek’s Cryengine; and Vincent Marty, head of marketing for Ubisoft EMEA and vice president of ESL Gaming.

Timothee Semelin, head of partnerships for Life Beyond, added: “Without revealing too much about the upcoming Swear NFTs collection, we know that the community and the project will bring a new level of innovation to Life Beyond, while bridging the gap between digital and physical fashion. We envision unique in-game functionality for Swear NFTs, as well as links to real-life Swear fashion products.”

Florent Sroka, CEO of Skinvaders, added: “We are proud to push such an iconic brand as Swear to take its first steps into virtual worlds. Providing Life Beyond with Skinvaders’ technology for 3D content creation is proof that we can work with both Web2 and Web3 gaming platforms.”

Along with the partnership, Darewise Entertainment officially launches the Life Beyond Creative Solutions team, a creative agency within the game studio, to co-create experiences with brands for and on Life Beyond.

“Life Beyond will be an impressive open metaverse, and its highlight will be the inclusion of some luxury and fashion brands that will be magnified in the virtual world. SWEAR has a rich history of empowering communities and will fit well in Life Beyond, where all citizens are free to be whoever they want,” commented Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands.

The partnership marks the first collaboration of its kind for Life Beyond and also “opens the door” for Skinvaders to become one of the first key partners to develop digital fashion and more for Life Beyond.
