A Chinese sports apparel and equipment company founded by Olympic champion Li Ning has licensed an NFT from Bored Ape. The brand will now launch its latest products under BAYC number 4102.

According to a post on Li Ning’s official Weibo account, “We have invited Bored Ape Yacht Club, a famous Web3.0 family, number#4102 BAYC, as the person in charge of Li Ning’s pop-up store fashion store.”
Li Ning’s official WeChat account said it will introduce the BAYC NFT avatar at a pop-up store in Beijing on April 28. Basically, Li Ning will create a new series of products based on the #4102 design.
While many Chinese brands and artists have dipped into NFTs such as XTEP, TaMen and Qi Baishi. Li Ning is the first in the Chinese NFT market to introduce the BAYC image.
