A hotel company has found a new way to use NFTs in travel with Room Night Tokens (RNTs). Using NFT technology, guests at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas can now buy and sell their hotel room reservations as NFTs.

The hotel is working in partnership with Pinktada, the reservation service specialist. Pinktada users can buy RNTs to book rooms at resorts in Florida , Mexico, San Francisco, Hawaii, and the Caribbean using the cryptocurrency ETH .

What is RNT hotel NFT?

RNT offers a web3 solution for travelers. The company behind the NFT hotel RNT scheme believes that this technology will help people have more flexibility in their travels.

Canceling vacations is stressful and there are also numerous terms and conditions on how and when a room can be canceled.

Sometimes a hotel room is non-refundable, but with NFT technology there may be more options available.

Says Jason Kycek, senior vice president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, “We can reach another consumer who may not book through traditional means.”

When a hotel room is booked using the RNT token it can be sold to another guest. Significantly, this venture opens up the market to those who use cryptocurrencies and NFTs on a daily basis.

Guests can also use NFTs to stay at any other hotel on the Pinktada platform.

Registration on the website is required to trade RNT’s NFTs to provide security to the consumer and hotelier.

“Hotel owners are given the security of revenue, but travelers are given the flexibility to sell or exchange the tokens if their plans change,” says Pinktada’s co-founder.

The Room Night Token (RNT) is a great idea, as this hotel room NFT token opens up a whole new market for hotels and gives customers the ability to sell their rooms quickly and easily.

Property tokenization has been coming and now the hospitality industry is emerging as a top market for NFTs.

Getting reimbursement for a hotel room is often quite complicated and only available on a situational basis.

It is quite common for hotels to sell you a non-refundable room, so you can resell your room and get a full refund of your money.

So if you want to live this wonderful experience we invite you to join Pinktada and be the first to know about new destinations and exclusive offers.
