The virtual concert was part of the in-game event on the PUBG platform. The 8-minute in-game event included BLACKPINK’s recently released special tune “Ready For Love” as well as the K-pop group’s virtual performances of their hit songs.
BLACKPINK and PUBG MOBILE
BLACKPINK partnered with PUBG MOBILE to release their special theme song, “Ready For Love” music video. It has been viewed 146 million times since its release and remains at the top of the chart.
The music video features BLACKPINK members as avatars who teleport to different locations in the PUBG MOBILE universe. These locations include the island of Erangel, the rainforest of Sanhok, the desert of Miramar, the frozen tundra of Vikendi and a sea of flowers in Livik.
This is the first time BLACKPINK members have appeared as avatars in a music video.
