Axie Infinity kicked off this Friday, April 15, its first “Origin Watch Party”, a week full of activities with the intention of integrating more and more of its community.
In a statement made on their official Discord on April 14, they expressed that the launch of Origin has exceeded all their expectations given the statistics received from the first 24 hours of the game:
- Users: 298,117
- PVP matches: 1,102,230
- Peak concurrent players: 28,000
- New users: 35,364
- Existing users: 254,000
The developers of Axie Infinity have decided to celebrate these achievements with a week of events, where their users will be able to enjoy game tutorials, broadcasts, high-profile 1-on-1s and more.

In this event the developers plan to delve into a different topic each day of the week, starting this Friday, April 15 through Thursday, April 21.

The biggest fight card in NFT gaming history is scheduled for Friday night at 8 p.m. EST.
Top players and creators will go head-to-head, broadcast by Zyori and Ryan MT8. The matchups are as follows:

Saturday, April 16: Axie marathon with 24-hour broadcast.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience playing in a professionally cast eSports event, now’s your chance.
At 9 p.m. EST on Friday, Zyori will host a King-of-the-Hill Open.
Anyone can apply to take on Nix in this first-ever Dethrone Challenge live-stream event.
To participate you must complete the following steps:
