Assemblr Metaverse relies its strength on its easy functionality and accessibility—according to the founder and CEO of Assemblr, Hasbi Asyadiq.
“Assemblr Metaverse will be a lighter entry point for users to enter the metaverse since users can enter and explore the virtual world simply with a link, using any web browser,” Hasbi shares. “One day, we may incorporate some Web3 elements into the metaverse—but not any time soon. We want to make it really easy and simple.”
“It is very easy to access Assemblr Metaverse. As long as users have web browsers on their devices, they can access Assemblr Metaverse right away. People don’t need to install any app first, or own a VR headset to explore the virtual world. But if they have the headset, it will be even better.”
Assemblr Metaverse currently consists of features that include:
- Avatar Customization, in which users can represent themselves in the form of 3D avatars.
- Virtual Spaces, where users can explore various public spaces. Later, users can also own their virtual spaces and decorate them to their liking; and
- Social Feature, where users can share some types of media images, video, and 3D objects—and also interact using the Voice & Chat features.
As a company focusing on building immersive technology solutions, especially in AR experiences, the metaverse platform itself also aligns with what Assemblr has been resonating with the public—which is to democratize immersive technology for everyone.
“We’ve got all the ingredients ready on the table, from optimized 3D models and animation, easy-to-use editor, and accessibility from any platform, so we can help users on board to the ecosystem easily,” Hasbi adds.
Prior to the release, Assemblr Metaverse was also open for beta testers since September 2022 and managed to gather thousands of users. It successfully gained positive feedback from the users as well.
According to Hasbi, people can expect a few upcoming things for Assemblr Metaverse. The nearest one would be an exclusive collaboration with a total of 15 intellectual properties (IP) and brands—with names like the famous Indonesian animation series Vernalta and Tekotok joining the lineup.
“For the next phase, we’re also preparing the options for people to rent or purchase virtual spaces, which they can decorate on their own,” Hasbi shares on the upcoming plan—followed by the possibility of launching virtual lands around 2023, which will utilize Web3 elements.
“Ultimately, we hope our metaverse can be fully utilized by many people for various use cases. It will be great once the ecosystem is set and many activities are held, and at the same time, users can also gain the benefits from utilizing this new media.”
