Resolution Games
Resolution Games is responsible for VR games such as Demeo (review), Blaston (review), Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale and, most recently, Ultimechs (review), designed for multiplayer experiences, exploiting the strengths of the medium.
Since its founding, the studio has raised $38.5 million from investors and employs more than 150 people (as of July 2022).
The Resolution Games showcase will be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook on Thursday, December 15 at 12 noon (local time).
Tommy Palm, CEO and founder of Resolution Games, and other team members will present updates, games and more in the biggest news day they’ve ever had.
“As the vacations approach, we’re ready to see more gamers diving into VR,” said Tommy Palm. “Our showcase, the biggest announcement day we’ve ever had, will welcome new VR gamers taking their first virtual steps, along with the millions of gamers already enjoying our games, as we share the new and upcoming fun they have to look forward to from Resolution Games.”
The company has already revealed its fifth adventure module for its flagship Demeo title, Reign of Madness. The free update will arrive on December 15 for the Quest and Quest headsets and PC VR. For Pico 4, the VR game will launch in early 2023.
The Mad Elven King has been brought back to life by Rackarn. Wretched creatures are crawling the streets as villagers are calling for aid. It’s time to close the Rift Bridge and stop Rackarn once and for all. The 5th Demeo adventure, Reign of Madness, will be out on Dec 15, 2022. pic.twitter.com/mwZ1oHiSJx

The group of heroes explore the evil-infested village of Ends, where they encounter new enemies and NPCs with their own stories.
Reign of Madness will add a new hero class: the barbarian Uhrak, who will fight with a grappling hook. Reign of Madness, like the previous four adventure updates, will be free of charge.
In addition to the Black Sarcophagus adventure, initially released with the game in 2021, Reign of Madness follows three other free expansions – Curse of the Serpent Lord, Reign of the Rat King and Roots of Evil.
Reign of Madness will introduce the hook-wielding barbarian as Demeo’s latest playable class, which will pit you and your party against “his greatest evil to date,” the studio says.
Resolution Games promises a new kind of game
Reign of Madness won’t be Resolution Games’ only Christmas gift to its fans. On December 15, VR gamers will have the chance to get their hands on a new title that should be unlike anything Resolution Games has done before.
It is not yet known what kind of game it will be and to what extent fans will be able to try it out. Resolution Games will most likely unveil the title and announce a beta test with a limited number of participants.
