Rarible is a creator-centric NFT marketplace and a strong advocate of community-based initiatives, especially supporting CCO brands.
Therefore, it focuses mainly on projects that do not have copyright reservations, allowing platform users to monetize, create and explore all kinds of utility that the NFTs they own can offer.
1 mfer = 1 mfer.
and with 0% platform fees in a dedicated community marketplace we can all be mfers, right? thanks, @raribleprotocol.

The best example is the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection of NFTs that assigns intellectual property rights to owners allowing them to use their Bored Ape NFTs in various applications such as wine, games, merchandise and even themed restaurants.
Sunil Singhvi, director of business development at Rarible, commented on the partnership: “The MFers project has spawned a whole new world, like all the best CC0 projects. They are the spark of a greater fire and the catalyst for a new model of community ownership and creative freedom in the NFT space.”
“While aggregated marketplaces remain important to help discover and nurture the broader ecosystem, this custom marketplace will allow fans and community members a place to dig deeper, learn more and bask in the glory [that] the MFers community has built,” he added.
Singhvi praised outgoing MFers creator Sartoshi, saying that although he is retiring, the project has been community-driven from day one. Suni stressed that the new marketplace seeks to “give a home to this vibrant community and ensure that the project has a place to grow and flourish, even without a creator.”
The comments echo a recent statement released by Rarible noting the importance of having creator-centric marketplaces. “Since most PFP projects are about the community being accessed and the network being built, these teams have decided to build a safe place where the community can trade and browse their NFTs within the brand ecosystem,” Rarible wrote in a blog post.
Part of the commissions collected from the community will be directed to the community’s DAO wallet, allowing the community to profit from each trade.
The marketplace went live on Tuesday, June 14, with the CREYZIES NFT collection that the Mfers launched on April 20, as well as the open mint issue on the end of Sartoshi.
